    LSR restored!

You find them mingled in multiple letter blocks . I have definitely seen more milled down than the LKSafety

    LSR restored!

Georg , I am curious why you would not expect this bolt to have a long key safety , but would expect it to be a milled down type ??.

Rarest K98k you have come across?

I am sure there are those that will likely disagree with me , but this is the only complete and 100% matching Late War BYF44 L block LT that I am aware of. I do know of other late production Ajack Scope with recycled LT Rings but I have never seen nor heard mention of another surviving example .

    Objective Mount Sniper Build

Your building a Reproduction so it deepends on how historically correct you want to get Your Scope Rings and Bases are not historically correct so take that into account . Known examples to date BSW 1939 , 243/1939 , CE 41/42 , Gew98 and Shortened Gew98 to K98 Configuration . Rifle will need to...

Please Help Identify My Late Father's Model 98 brought home from Germany

If you insist on shooting the rifle , make sure the cross bolt and trigger guard screws are all tight or better yet swap out the stock before hand with another k98 stock . I have seen to many stocks split or worse crack at the wrist because of this . In all honesty I would not shoot the rifle ...
