Lost auction, but odd turn of events

A red glue laminate stock on a 1936 Obie, pretty damn rare one. Might have been a prototype given to Albert Speer. I'd be more pissed off at the seller for the title of his auction.

Is there a place I don't know about for all proven turds and hump jobs? They always seem to come back to haunt us.

No More NAZI K98s at Mitchell's Mausers

I get the "is that a Mitchell's"??? a lot when I'm shooting one of mine, they are far from pimp shined. I usually tell the no this is a real one.

What was your first 98k in your collection

This 1937 S 147 super mixmaster. Probably started it's journey as an RC but there's no X and not much Russian BBQ black paint. It also was sitting in an early Sauer walnut stock. The next year I found an almost identical 1937 S147 bring back just 9,000 numbers off. Went on to collecting Swedes...

    Mauser dou 43 K98 authentication

Someone gave it a pimp shine. Can't make out the import mark in the first pic but it looks like a MM CA. Hope you didn't pay too much for it but Mitchell's make decent shooters most of the time.

Dealer Re-Marketing Again - New Level of Absurdity

This site, as well as many others are open to any buyer that is willing to put the time and labor into researching a piece before they put down their hard earned money. If they buy a 2K rifle for 4K it's on them. I bought a m1903 National Match C stock at a yard sale for $5. I sold it for $493...

Pimped, wanked, and Gunbonkered; Memes Only

Spiritlaker winning the broomhandle, he really loves Gunsrc. Ruscon61, likes Sreisel, Legecy, Commonwealth, and Gunsrc, they all have one thing in common. He ain't winning the 98. Some guy with 9 feedbacks is.

But it's from a forty year old collection. Thst Chinese Broomhandle he's selling looks a little suspicious too and it's up to $5.5K. Guy winning the auction seems to buy a lot of stuff from gunsrc, HHHMMMNNN.

How dishonest is the K98 market and the risk to the average Joe collector

I've got some rust personally scraped off of Graceland's gutters. For sale cheap with a certificate of authenticity.
