Dialytan Scope with markings on objective - pre or post war

Hello, Hensoldt moved the serial to the rear ocular housing in the 35,000 serial range for the Dialytan series. for Dural Dialytan they never moved to any other location other than under the Saddle on the scope probably due to the Aluminum Scope tube. they also kept the 22mm and Klein scopes...

    K98 High Turret sniper rifle

Hello, well there are other problems with this rifle. FIRST the RECEIVER is a BYF43 they moved the letter block from UNDER the serial the right hand side in the h (H) block of 1943. not 1942 as they did not use 5 digit serials. SECOND this is a NORWEGIAN captures so that means unless a NAVY...

Kahles Minion 2 1/2X how old?

Hello, its a early scope about mid 1930's due to the half focus ring. serial should be on the saddle/adjust tower. they put a med to heavy black paint and it sometimes blends in good but you should be able to see a serial these had them. if NO serial parts could have been swapped out from a post...

    Question on Oigee scope

Hello, that Oigee serial is POST WWI and PRE WWII with a date of roughly 1932/33. they run about 150-200 when found the only down side the Gnom (small bore rifle scope) is a 22mm scope tube so nothing is out there to make a sniper mock of it as most sniper were 26/26.5/27mm tubes. later vaughn
