Unfortunately a bad rifle - someone built this, and was never a factory original side-rail sniper. Those so called sniper experts were wrong.

Here is a weak image of machining chatter. Not typical but legit.

Georg, the resolution on the image is not good but when I blow it up it doesnt look right. Thats why I stated that a better image of the machining on the safety is needed. But from that limited view, looks wrong - the machining pattern is way off.

I would say no, its just an early bnz42. The 'e' on the safety is just a subcontrator code. The other letters are likely random process stamps.

Base rifle is an 'l' block and appears to be correct. Here are the markers that I do not like: 1. Font on scope front ring is atypical for late assembly - all my Ajack factory matching scopes have a much smaller font size 2. No checkered buttplate which says to me possible stock replacement 3...
