The corncob pattern seen on K98k stocks is not from a pantograph. It's more closely related to the US "Blanchard" Lathe as they called it. Not the same machine, same concept though.

Hello Thomas, Can you post some pictures of the rifle you are looking for a firing pin for? Saying Erma 22lr, is pretty generic because they made several versions. Then your message muddies the waters further by saying a Erma k98k firing pin, which then makes me question what exactly it is...
