I was a little surprised to see the barrel on this, so I took some pics. I don't think this one has been posted before, or at least I hope it hasn't.
Nothing special, just an honest, all matching m block S/42G (except for the E/77 rod numbered 82). It appears to retain all of its original parts as the locking screws are WaA211 and the band spring is K167. Parts are a mix of mostly K167 (with a couple of P74 sight parts) and WaA211. Final acceptance is WaA211.
The barrel is a very early WaA49 Sauer barrel and the rear sight sleeve is a S/42G marked spare that was diverted to production. Its definitely not a rework. I know the spare sleeves show up now and then, but is this barrel unusual?
