    WWII Stock Blank

From a Machining aspect, Windsor is the cat's meow. One of my favorite places and I wish I could visit more often. Springfield is a huge disappointment because of how much they have on site, that is not displayed. Jon sent me some pictures I'll get uploaded as soon as possible.

Circle B Mauser 98 bolt mark

It is a Brazilian 1908 bolt. If you don't have a purpose for it and would like to sell it, I have a nice action lacking a bolt, and I would be interested in buying it. thanks

    WWII Stock Blank

The corncob pattern seen on K98k stocks is not from a pantograph. It's more closely related to the US "Blanchard" Lathe as they called it. Not the same machine, same concept though.

    S/42G with E/49 barrel

Beautiful rifle, thanks for taking the time to photograph. I can't comment on the barrel, but will be curious to see the answer.

    T.ST.V Austrian Mausers info.

There is plenty of information about them, but I have never seen any that contradicts another?

ERMA 22LR firing pin for sale?

Hello Thomas, Can you post some pictures of the rifle you are looking for a firing pin for? Saying Erma 22lr, is pretty generic because they made several versions. Then your message muddies the waters further by saying a Erma k98k firing pin, which then makes me question what exactly it is...

    Mauser K98 blueprints

This is what I was explaining in my previous post, these dimensions are not explicitly called out. Whether more prints existed, they were cut on fixturing that set the dimensions with only a little variation, or were cut using setup gauges, I do not know. The dimensions for the reference faces...

    Murray’s vs Fox K98k Stock

At the moment, I don't. I started going through the stock in detail, and at some point I will make a short video on some of the bigger issues. If you compare the stock to an original good condition, there is a significant amount of variance. Save your pennies, there is at least one person in...

    Mauser K98 blueprints

"Diese Flächen sind Teile eines Schrauben Ganges mit 40 mm Steigung von einer radialen Erzeugenden" "These surfaces are parts of a helix with a pitch of 40 mm from a radial generatrix" This is shown in cutaway E-F. German drawings, even today, sometimes lack information, that requires...

    Mauser K98 blueprints

What dimensions are you looking for? Schnitt E-F in the receiver drawing lists these cam surfaces, which are the 40mm for the 3 lugs and the cam surface on the bolt handle. The quoted section from the bolt is the corresponding parts. Hülse being the receiver, the timing and distance on these is...

    Murray’s vs Fox K98k Stock

I bought one of the Numrich stocks, in part because I thought a finished K98k stock for $160 was laughable. I did not have high expectations. The wood is bubble gum, stained, dimensionally incorrect, and rife with issues. Functionally.... it works. Would I recommend it... well, I suppose it...

    1891 Danzig Gew88/05 help

Without handling it, it is hard to say exactly what the issue is. The extractor should be able to move slightly front to back. If you apply pressure outward (press a screw driver against the rim as if it were a case) the extractor should flex. I have handled rifles that the extractors were...

I love that bolt shroud and the cocking piece. Gnarly. Personally I would leave the rifle as is. I would not refinish it. I might be tempted to put a replacement rear sight base in instead of welding/refinishing. I probably have a scrap of laminate stock you could use to fill the spring...

    RyanE and Lugers

I've got a Yakima plow and tool carrier on my B, not experimental, but I've been told very rare. Reminds me I have rockshaft arms for a 500 series tool carrier? I can't remember the number. I need to dig those out. This was in PA. Unfortunately it was not in deep storage, as apparently...

    RyanE and Lugers

I went to a random guys place about a year ago to look at a roll mark machine for a customers job. While there he asked if I was interested in a Pantograph, I already have a couple, but I was interested to see what he had. Boy... what he had. Wow. In the next room there were shelves stacked with...
