PTR44 Semi-Auto MP44

Interchangable?

An original Oprod and bolt will fit and function in a PTR44. The OPROD handle has to be replaced with one of the thinner 922R compliant bolt handles. The bolts appear to be identical, except, I think that slot for the ejector is not cut as deep?

A while back, I did try a PTR bolt and OPROD in my MP44 and it did not function. I think that the OPROD did not press down on the full auto kick. The bolt would not slide over the ejector as I recall.

Pete may know the differences? I suspect that Pete could make a good PTR44 bolt and OPROD function in an MP44?

It's really too bad y'all can't make full auto capable internals to run in original guns. I'd buy up some bolts and oprods to save wear on originals.

The PTR44 op rod is not cut for full-auto sear trip actuation. Where the original op rod has a cutout with a curved end to press down on the FA sear trip, the PTR44 op rod has a big lump of metal.

The the "foot" of the PTR44 bolt is narrower so it will fit through the U-shaped denial piece in the back of the PTR44 receiver. From my personal experience, the PTR44 bolt has a deeper ejector slot and a slightly prouder ejector, causing an original MP44 bolt to bind against the right side of the receiver near the ejection port.

Pete is the man. There's hardly anything MP44 he can't do.

Stock ferrule ("Bodenstück für den Schaft", nicht die Eckenschützer)
Front sight post (Kornhalter)
Gas block (Gasentnahme)

I am out of gas block s right now, but have ordered more. Stock Ferrule and Front sight post I still have in stock

I have been looking for original and modern made parts here and in europe for the past 4 years. I got a PM from Dingo last week. I was able to order the parts I need to finish my original rifle with dug and e-bay/gunbroker parts. I need a front sight base and gas block.

Pete is populating the USA made barrel, I had dingo send the parts straight to Pete, pete was impressed with the parts sent. I have since received a original gas block but I will save it for the next project

the bummer is Dingo said he will not be offering receiver flats BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right now we are in the proses to se what the market wants, to se if there is a demand for parts at all?. We are working on setting up production of some of the models in USA, so I rely hope there are a market here. The BD38 is probably the first model that will be on the marked in USA.

flats are difficult if you have never worked with them. if you have never assembled a MP-5, G-3, cetme, HK-93 kit you will have extreme difficulty. these are not going to be simple ak flats. this flat building with be for the experienced and talented builders

I suggest to get started by practicing by following the numerous build threads out there, starting with the kits mentioned above, if you intend to do a MP-44 build with a flat. there are only 3-4 folks on this site, who are known builders. this is not for the I gotta do this crowd or amateur hour

dingo bolts and flats, for some it seems op rods

Did get complete oprods and gas blocks today, they are FA ones that also fit MP44. it takes 2 minuts to make them semi. Complete butt stock and pin kits in stock to Also got scope mounts for FG42G inn stock. Sadly the website will close down this weekend, and stay closed until we start the production. So if any one need parts they must be ordered this week.
