yes you can replicate the colors you are looking for using simple products from home depot for that washed look as KSH67 indicated
example for a green color use a mix of phoshate based product and copper, zinc for gray, duller black/ gray use manganese, black use steel wool. use less or more amounts to obtain the finish you wish and of course using scrap sheet metal similar to that used on the mp-44

Are you saying that putting copper in the Park solution would give a greenish color?
Powder or filings ? Machining chips? In Zinc phos , manganese phos?
