    PK 88's Anyone?

Probably not the right place but I thought everyone would get a kick outta seeing this. I don't buy photos but could not resist this one since I have my own small collection of PK88's. it's an original photo that looks like it was pulled out of a frame or scrapbook. best I can tell the caption...

    Bnz 44

Really cool rifle as others have said, and tough to find. I’ve got p block KM’s and have always wanted a full configuration example to complete the series but never found a nice one like this. The C stock only makes it sweeter.

    Shooting a K98 Duffle Cut

I think bob said it well. I too like them as found, and consider the vet’s part of the story part of its history. As others have said, it’s proof of a vet bring back and that has value for me. in I’ve bought and undone bad repairs, and left as close to original as possible. Keep in mind the...

    dou.45 KM Screw Study

I think there are three distinct screws used on these, and Mike I'll defer to you since you're the expert (one of the few folks who have handled anything past C block), but I think you suggest as much in the book? I had mine out so I pulled some screws for a comparison. Left to right: early...

    Found a nice Dou45

They do not get any better than that. Beautiful example. Stock looks all original and the dark finish is typical on these. Patina on the buttplate and discs speak volumes. Just the way you want to find em. Love the milled floorplate - I’ve got a no-letter, a and c block all will milled FP’s.

A little Steyr T block weirdness

Very cool. I love bnz 45’s and already have too many but still need one of those late T’s with no acceptance/proof!

Laminate stock stripped buttplate screw hole

Second bob on the toothpick - no harm/modification and screw stays in place and does not get lost. Done many times.

    bnz 45 Question

I’ve got a couple Czech examples during the transition period that are drilled for lock screws but not tapped or installed, much like the undrilled cleaning rod holes. I’ve never seen a steyr example. but I’ve got an early q block BNZ 44 still with the lock screws installed. So I’d say...

here a no-letter. notice the shroud and safety -- very early for any phosphate and they actually look more like they are in the white.

here's my C block. kinda grungy and I have not touched it since picking it up except to clean the bore. interesting that it's almost all blue except the TG and FP while Mike yours is only about 100 rifles later and just about all phosphate. I guess the transition was right around there.
