Empire Arms K98k Barreled Actions for Sale

I exchanged a few emails with them. They are nice and willing to work with someone to improve the product . The stock they have was made to order, so that’s the template they got to use and they stuck with it . Going forward, they would need a good stock as a template. It would not be damaged ...

Empire Arms K98k Barreled Actions for Sale

Minelis stock. I'm a fan. Numrich has had them for sale for $159 for a while now. $100 less than Stocky's https://www.gunpartscorp.com/products/1369340 Exact same product. They need some work shape wise. They are thicker and more square in bottom cross section in comparison to the...

    Questions about Czech Kar98

Yes, you paid too much, by $100-$150. So what. You own it now and doubt you can return it. Enjoy it. Read up on its history, find some ammo, have fun.

Round stuck in barrel, bolt wont rotate and lock

This is assuming the bolt is out of the rifle and you didn't jam it close and now have both a stuck bolt and a live round in the chamber. If the bolt is out, yes, wood dowel from muzzle end will work.

Period Photos of German troops using a Reworked Wz.29 or a G29/40?

Interesting. All straight bolt. Both visible slings on bottom, not on side like k98k, even thou the rifle allowed it. Sling buckle up at the front, and button at the rear.

    Unidentified K98K bolt ... Kar98a

Hey, show us some pictures! Here is my 1938 s/237 in a repro walnut stock from minellis. Finished in Extra Dark Shahftol. It's little lighter in person, that darker reddish tone was because I took the picture in early evening.

    What to do

Ohh, that sucks. Sorry. I picked up what looked like a nice duffel cut early war Waa63 laminated stock, only to find out the band cut is 1/4th inch rearward of normal, like it was modified for a Yugo shorter barrel. Same deal.

    1938 660 Model G.12/34 Luftwaffe Karabiner

If anything, start with gun oil/ballistol on a rag, and do it gently. Less is more. Those who know what it is, won't care about the rust and will appreciate the un-messed with condition. People who would want the rust cleaned off probably won't appreciate what the rifle is and will pass it...

    1938 660 Model G.12/34 Luftwaffe Karabiner

Now that I see the two, I agree something is off. The 1938 date is also stamped in different location (lower) in the receiver than the #308 example.

    Help with parts

Gentlemen, I bought OP's rifle and put it in a repro Minellis stock. The picture is above. Like all my rifles it will be a shooter and if i come across an original stock for a reasonable price later on, great, but for now I'm happy with the results.

    1938 660 Model G.12/34 Luftwaffe Karabiner

Not a k98k, but rather a Model G.12/34 Luftwaffe Karabiner I think. https://www.k98kforum.com/threads/mod-29-o-code-660-1939-to-luftwaffe.27414/ If it is that, then its rare indeed. 6700 manufactured 1938/39 only.

    What to do

Can you post some pictures? I have a nice laminated Waa26 stock that was modified for Yugo shorter barrel and then duffle cut. I have a full front part of another laminated stock, so enough for repair, but was concerned about how it would all look.
