Period Photos of German troops using a Reworked Wz.29 or a G29/40?

For a “passion project” I am working on for the Wz.29 and it’s variants, I would like to supplement my discussion of German capture versions (German rework Wz.29’s and the G29/40) with some period photos of those rifles in use by German troops in WW2, especially since I don’t have an example to show.

Google hasn’t been very helpful, just providing modern day photos of the weapons themselves.

It’s a bit of a long shot, but I have seen some members here posting some very cool photos of Germans with other rare captured weapons, so there may be a chance!

The closest I ever got to finding a photo myself was some photo of a German soldier aiming a captured Polish K98 carbine from a defensive position.

If you go to the sticky here of Period photos of Vz24's and G24(T)'s in German use, one of the photos in the first post shows what looks to be a Wz29 due to the sling bar on the side of buttstock. It is the only color photo in that group.

Indeed it is! Thank you. Every photo counts.

I'm pretty darn sure this is a captured polish wz29 carbine. Look at the grasping grooves, and the length of the handguard. Plus that looks like a bolt notch cut out in the stock, but with a straight bolt being used.

Ive had this photo for years. Came with other random german photos in a lot. No context for the photo, nothing written on the back. Wish I had more info. Clearly looks like four wz29 rifles with equipment.
