If You have a spare safety to send to Andy along with the damaged one I would suggest doing this that way he can replicate the repair on broken to match the Undamaged one exactly .

There is a number of things that I did not mention and the little that I did mention will still not help them anyway . Besides these things have been discussed many times over the years and it has not made a difference
