My odd thought here is, if the gun is real why then hang a repop sling?

It's very tough to say with these poor pictures. I would never buy a rifle with that white stuff filled in the numbers. Makes it way too easy to fake stuff. I don't really like what I see. Front base looks fake. Plus it's a high turret base but numbered like a low turret.

I fully doubt it. At least the scope serial is incorrect and the scope location in the rings is wrong. IMHO this scope is either a Swedish or a commercial Ajack 4x90 that was reworked to look military. And if someone bothers to rework a scope and rings this much, then the rest of the rifle becomes very doubtful as well. Especially if items such as the front barrel band appears to be grounded and force matched.
At best you have an original sniper rifle that was restored with wrong scope and rings ... not worth the 8k. Not worth the risk.

The whole top end Scope Rings along with Bases are not original also scope is mounted incorrectly in rings .
Also the front base screws are not correct either .
