The scoped type 1 is just so damned good looking. Rick is working his a$$ off to get guns out, but it is a time intensive project and to his credit he takes no short cuts that compromise the gun, like so many other so called custom builders do. I own 2 type 2 in different caliber and 1 type 1 w/ scope //// just works of art ......

He managed to get back to me yesterday about the bipod legs. They're on time and said: "Your rifle is complete and test fired. I will send you notification of shipment in the next few days."
I believe the folks that sent in their deposit around the time I did (late April/ early May of 2021) might have been pushed to the next batch :/ especially if you did not receive the "We are still on track to deliver this batch - your rifle is in it or you wouldn't get this email - in the next 4-6 weeks" around the 14th of May.

I got an e-mail from Rick today, and this is what he said; “If you are getting a lacquer or cerakote rifle this will bring your build up to start final assembly in the next 4-6 weeks. All the blued rifles will be run after that.” So, it looks like another 15-20 week wait on the blued rifles . . . . . . I sold a couple of nice pieces out of my collection to be sure and have the funds ready for the 8-12 week estimate - silly me

Thanks for the info. I thought they blued all of the lacquered rifles first, then sand blasted, and finally apply lacquer. I find it interesting that they are doing final assembly on the lacquered rifles first.

He said: “Our Cerakote guy will be leaving for an extended time in a few weeks so we are forced to make ready all the parts sets that are either lacquer or cerakote so he can process them before he leaves”

I received tracking for mine today. Seems like you guys will get yours pretty soon. The wait is finally over 
Kkard, did you receive any other emails than the March one? I haven't heard from him since March so not sure if I will be in this batch he was writing you about. I order mine in January of 2022

No other e-mail other than the March 8-12 week estimate. I ordered mine in June of 21 with a six month estimate of completion. Looks like it will be closer to 3 1/2 years for completion

Well it finally made it, light walnut with cerakote finish. I've had the sling and bayonet for over a year. (it did come with 2 mags)

I hope you're right! I was one of the recipients of the last 8 to 12 weeks out, and order confirmation email sent in March.

Got my email for payment today, assume you did too or will soon. Sounds like it could be 6+ weeks possibly before they’re actually done though
