Based on having finally completed a batch of T-I's and not wanting to go up across the board for things you might not want and shouldn't have to pay for we have a base price with options, hope it works better that way. The price will now be as follows with payment details at the bottom....
1) $5,750.00 Base rifle all blue with the following parts parkerized: safety assembly, trigger housing retaining flat spring, trigger, bolt and carrier. It will
have a pinned rear sight and a standard early trigger housing with the smaller trigger guard. It will also have the adjustable gas block and locking bipod
legs at no extra charge.
Shipping/insurance - 85.00 This is for ground shipping insured for the value which about doubles the cost.
No cost options on this rifle will be limited to choice of dark or light wood and the listed park parts can be left in the white/bare or blued.
Upgrades:
1) Adjustable rear sight: + 50.00 This allows you to adjust windage without having to drift the front sight in it's dovetail leaving it centered and
undamaged like has to be done if the rear sight is simply pinned like the original.
2) Winter trigger guard: + 150.00 Why? Because we get to take a early trigger housing and cut the small guardoff, drill for rivets and install/rivet the
new larger (made, bent, formed) guard on.
3) Case deflector: + 100.00 - Please see attached pictures. Based on the one original experimental example as shown in the book "Death From
Above - pg 60" and allows a left hand shooter to not have empties bounce from the nose. A real pain to make and hand fit but makes the rifle left hand
shooter friendly. Please see attached photos of rifle with light maple hand guard and case deflector.
3) Maple hand guard + 75.00 : This wood is hard and durable and gives near perfect grooves unlike the chippingnormal on the walnut. It is much more
difficult to finish out and to get to take a stain so we can only color match as close as possible to the finish that would be on the walnut.
4) Cerakote + 200.00: A tough finish with a great gloss look. Downside is that although it doesn't chip to baremetal the gloss finish mars easily leaving
things still black but not a nice uniform shine anymore.
Parts that are cerakoted are first blued for protection on the inside of things and the outside has the blue blasted off and is then cerakoted. These parts are the receiver, buttstock, trigger housing, gas block, front sight base and post, and muzzle brake/adapter.
5) Black lacquer that chips like the original + 200.00: A not so tough finish with a great gloss look. Downside is that it does/willchip to bare metal and
the gloss finish mars easily leaving things still black but not a nice uniform shine anymore. ALSO.... After 50+ rounds without letting the rifle cool the
paint will literally start to melt off the muzzle brake/adaptor and front sight base. These parts can be Cerakoted on the lacquer option for durability,
but won't chip so.....
Parts that are lacquered are first blued for protection on the inside of things and then the outside has the blue blasted off before being
lacquered. These parts are the receiver, buttstock, trigger housing, gas block, front sight base and post, and muzzle brake/adapter.
