The Time Has Come - Forum Software Change

So far its looking pretty good. I haven't encountered any issues yet, as a matter of fact It fixed my log in issue I was having where every time I got on the site it logged me out and I had to log back in. Updated but not entirely different, I like it.

Looks pretty good. Almost like the original. Way better than every other forum that has switched over.
 
Definitely better than the other Xenforo-turned forums, good work farb and admins.
Still, it's a bit harder now to tell what threads I've looked at recently and what's new, as well as what's stickied and what's not. That info used to be on the left of the title if I remember correctly, and the thread titles used to be bold if they hadn't been viewed. Doesn't seem to work that way anymore but I'll get used to it, no big deal.
It will be quicker to find Bruce's WTS ads now, there'll be a nice rack displayed prominently next to them! No more needing to read names.
 
I’ve noticed it’s hard to find unread and sticky threads too, something I will work on.
 
Looks good to me, but this is all I have done so far. I like the little messages you get as you write your post that another post has been posted . Looking forward to all the new stuff.
 
Ok, I've made the unread text darker, and changed the bar color of stickies to differentiate them from normal threads. I darkened the borders a little too, makes it more compartmentalized.

If you run across any improvements I'll be happy to hear them.
 
I noticed the avatars are pixelated. If you re-upload your avatar it fixes it, no fix from this admin side. Bruce, you need to fix your avatar pronto.

Now we can like everything too, just like fakebook.
 
I am not seeing any of the photos on posts in this forum. I have to click on an attachment to see it and only one at a time. Very annoying, However, everything works normally in the Beutewaffen forum. Thumbnails display, I can click through them, etc. Anyone else seeing this?

Correction: I am seeing this on some posts in the BW forum too.
 
The attachment thumbnail generation has been running for about 5 hours, and is about 10% complete. So you're looking at roughly 50 hours total before all thumbs show. We have almost 500,000 attachments. That isn’t a typo. My mission is to clean up as many old useless images as possible, shouldn’t take more than 3 years.

Great job on the forum! It looks great, and we all really appreciate the hard work that went in to it. (y)
