Sniper pictures

Clay , I believe I have 2 other photos that maybe related to this photo . The BMJ Scope in your photo shows a early 65XXX - 66XXX range Scope . In all likely hood it a 1943 SC Rifle . Great Photo . Thanks for sharing it .

I believe the FJ sniper picture was taken during the Battle of Crete. I've seen that picture before it almost looked like a short side rail from a distance.
 
I think it’s a turret or objective mount by the spacing, maybe someone has the picture in better resolution?
 
I went through old threads and tried to save every picture I could find. Great pics and such a variety of setups. I guess I didn't realize there was so much diversity? Is this stock elm perhaps? The grain looks like it maybe? elm stock.png
