I'm almost certain the fellow on the right is Sepp Allerberger.

Just noticed first time on that picture, looks like the rear windage screws are removed and you can see daylight through them, or just camera glare.

@flynaked - yes, it's from a video, and If I have a good memory, it's from the Totenkopf division.

This one is also a reenactor and friend of mine from my old reenacting group from Poland (I attach one of our old photos from the reenactment event. he stands with Mosin, 2 from the right side)

@Thorne - yes, it's Sepp with his fan, as he recalls. Its also from te same photo session you post a picture So both guys are from 3 Gebirgs-division.

Nope its from period magazine, Unser Heer from 1944, he is an instructor

Nice pics, with the names of the Kriegsberichters you may find the full reportage at NARA, the Bundesarchiv... or nowhere as it has been lost.
It would be a good idea to list names of PK-Berichter here.

Thanks a lot, I like to share my archives with you here as I study a german sniper topic for 12 years I have something in my collection besides just studying I also practice it within a reenactment group

realizing this last set is taken from a publication, the first shooter pictured sure has 1970s-looking sideburns…….reenactor?

Also, I posted in the same post the front page of this magazine, and other photos (concealed as a tree) are from the same magazine. Besides that in that picture, you have 2 snipers

Those are great unser heer photos.

I may not have any rare photos, but I have been able to make some high resolution copies of photos from publications and books I do have for personal study, maybe even colorization in the future.
Sadly these are only about 50% size of what i can upload, but if anyone wants a certain copy feel free to message.
