K98k Laminate Stock Date and Supplier Codes

I get Monday, July 31. I think the only correction to your above is that the first week of the year is the one that contains the 4th.
I think we’re counting the weeks the same, but since Monday of the 31st week is July 31, (day 1) wouldn’t the 2nd day be Tuesday August 1st? The code is 2 31 4…….. 2= Tuesday?
🙂

This is a late model stock from a Russian capture. Appear to me to be. Recoil lug #26 then butt end.

Not a complete rifle, but I have a duffle cut, flat buttplate stock, M.O. WaA 655 s/n 1330 q with stock channel date of 2-21-40. Also a faint ink stamp "5" in the channel. and laminate code "P" below the grip.

Found today a stock complete with metal parts for an early 1937 BSW in letter A. The handguard, numbered with the right writing fonts, is glued laminated! I had never seen glued laminated pieces so early at BSW!

Hi, I to have seen that faint 5 stamp inside stock between the mag-well and the trigger hole ?

I have a Norwegian M98k F1 1940 42 code, Matching (but for cocking piece, Barrel and bolt flat). 2 BYF 43s (1 matching but for extractor, the other is a BMM) and a matching 1939 42 Code-it's walnut however). Would the info from these be helpful?

Dear gents can I have some more information about this stock?

Dear gents can I have some more information about this stock?
looks like white glue laminate, large takedown disc but turned not stamped, from the bolt cut out ‘probably not’ a Mauser Oberndorf. date code on butt indicates 6th day, 42nd week of 194? Can’t make out the last digit. Initials/scratches on butt likely post war.

thanks for the info the numbers on the butt are: 6-42 4

One more for you guys! The gun is under construction so dont mind the steel parts. I think its a Jugo or Russian captured/rebuilt stock. No marking under the buttpalte. There is 313 number stamped in the steel buttplate
