100% humped, poorly. Sad. Poor guy doesn’t know what he doesn’t know.

Try as we may, you just can’t help some people.

I remember many years ago, about 20, a younger collector named Mike Steves calling me one Saturday as I was in my back yard drinking beer and doing yard work to ask about the oddity of an e/63 inspect on a K98k with otherwise no e/63 identifiers. At that point I had been in the “game” maybe 15-20 years longer than Mike. My opinion was it sounded like a humpjob. He thought otherwise. He was right. In that span of time since then his knowledge significantly surpasses mine and he co-authored books. I’ve probably got 20 years on him.

What also sucks is its not just this one guy who won't listen or try to learn, he also has a channel broadcasting to others, potentially millions, that a humped example is legit. It's sometimes hard to undo wrong information one learns as he is a prime example. It's not just this guy, it's so many "experts" on YouTube today.
I honestly believe this guy is choosing to be willfully ignorant because he's chasing clout with those who otherwise dont know any better.
