Shame the stock was cut. Could be a candidate to splice and bring it back to its proper length.

    It started again

No offense to my forefathers but I can’t wait until the meek inherit the earth (collections). I will have to keep the war chest full for when my great predecessors decide to pass down their Gewehr conversions and G41Ms

    1939 147 O Block Luftwaffe Marked

Unrelated to the post, but I miss you Hale. Hope you are well boss. It appears from photos OP sent me that the rear screw is properly marked. Front action screw is not. This is the post on the trader that this rifle was purchased through...

    It started again

It’s somewhat annoying how quickly the correlation to the rifles is dismissed. All other theories just use the shared totenkopf iconography to assume a relationship. Meanwhile, the SS gewehr reworks share both markings and the commercial proofing styles. Two commonalities should make SS...

Damaged G33/40 - Matching Bolt, Renumbered Wood

I hate to bump my own post, but I’m very interested to get a second opinion on the stock renumbering. I test fired it once, but since nothing is holding the front band down, it popped loose. Strangely, there are deep gouges in the chamber while the bore is beautiful

this is the first time I’ve heard this. Everyone on the LugerForum tend to believe it is the frame.

A buddy of mine purchased a stripped luger frame off of ebay for his "build a frankenP08 from ebay parts only" challenge. He had no knowledge that doing so was illegal, but it arrived to his door with no hassle.
