T-Gewehr Trigger Fail

Good Evening All,

Back from the range today and look what I found. At first, I noticed that my cases were not ejecting after extraction while shooting. Thirty rounds went down range and the T-Gewehr shot great. I thought the ejector was jammed and that was indeed the case. Then I found this as I was cleaning. Not sure if the jammed ejector caused the fail or simply metal fatigue. All else seems OK and will send my trigger to John Taylor in Idaho who is my master machinist and a wizard. Randy

John of John Taylor Machine Shop (Johntaylormachine.com) is amazing. If you need parts fabricated seems like nothing can stop him. John has made parts for me that range from Dreyse and Carcano needle guns, Needham Conversion, and up to the T-Gewehr. Randy

Once-fired 50BMG brass, 190gr Hodgdon 50BMG powder, 50BMG primers, and custom bullets made to original German specifications (.525" dia.), sans the steel core. Randy

Good Evening,

New trigger worked great but we had much rain and I only got 15 rounds off. Got a few shots out to 100 yards and hit the black with one in the X. Now dealing with a sticking ejector but that should not take too long. Thanks all for your input. Randy
