    K43 qve45 Evaluation

Decent value for this package especially if someone wants a place holder as a rifle.

    LZA marked SVT40

Non-Soviet refurb SVT's are pretty uncommon/rare/scarce. Very nice!!

    bcd 42 (East German Refurb)

I have it listed in the Great White North, I won't post a link, but any Canadian collectors could find it easily and it will certainly be an upgrade from an RC, I happen to have a nicer example, so this one is surplus to my needs. The gentleman I purchased it from had a really interesting...

    bcd 42 (East German Refurb)

I believe this to be one of the East German Refurb K98's, but it does not have any VoPo markings. Otherwise, everything is the same as every other East German rifle I have come across. This is a heavily refurbished, re-blued rifle with early and late war parts that is mostly stamped forced...

AC 44 G43 Russian Capture East German Rework

They had an "X" and a big foot "X" stamp. The variation in stamps has been discussed previously on this forum. There are multiple variations in these VoPo rifles, especially as to how they were marked.

    SVT40 Scope and Mount

At first I thought maybe a Finnbear until I looked at the underneath photo's (no markings on this example). I have to admit that the Finnbear are the best reproduction mount on the market and the person who made them must have know something as some line up with the serial numbers of legit...

Interesting Sporter (Gew98 with engraved butt plate).

I took these pics prior to selling the rifle. The barrel also had a sling swivel silver soldered onto it. The stock work is top notch.

Interesting Sporter (Gew98 with engraved butt plate).

Wow, thank you for all the information. Receiver is Spandau with crown, dated 1916. Rifle is a bolt MM, stock does not match, but the trigger guard did match however the screws did not. I will try to get a picture of the stock, for a military conversion it was done very well, right up there...

Interesting Sporter (Gew98 with engraved butt plate).

Interesting sporter. Original military stock but neatly hand checkered stock with buffalo horn finished forend. Also a front swivel soldered onto the barrel. The butt plate is also engraved, but sadly rusted. The date doesn’t make much sense, nor does the spelling of Commando with a “c” versus...

    Thoughts on duffle cut

Likely most of my comments are echoing other members. Despite the cut, looks like a nice relatively untouched rifle. With the duffle cut, you know it was very likely an undocumented bring back, which I think is interesting. I have had a few and eventually replaced them with uncut rifles as...

    G43 bcd

I actually find small things like rather funny. As I am sure parts got MM during legit service or immediately after the war. The problem is it is very had to prove when a part got MM. Few examples that I would consider legit in my own collection are: - Flat Sided C96 with a shoulder stock only...

I am glad you picked it up. Nice rifle despite the handguard ;)

    Laminated g24(t) stocks?

They do have the Yugo serial number applied to the left side of the buttstock. I have heard of and seen M48 stocks or converted K98 stocks mixed in with stocks advertised as "K98 stocks", but this occurrence of G.24(t) stocks being mixed in, especially 2x in one order is a first for me.
