So, I had some K98 MM sporters I was trying to restore, and a dealer had some Yugo K98 stocks advertised.
They arrived in the mail yesterday and I quickly realized that 2/3 stocks were not correct. I laid all three stocks out beside a proper k98 stock with hardware on the right. The two stocks on the left are VZ24 dimensions (g24t). They have faint waffen amt cartouches. They would fit the appropriate band spring, front and mid band and they do not have the bolt handle cut out.
Has anyone seen a g24t Yugo captured stock before??? I am trying to decide if I should be upset with the company for sending me the wrong stocks? Or if this was a blessing in disguise? Due to the pricing of parts these days, the stocks were not cheap.
