I usually attend the November show, but this year I couldn’t due to a severe case of COVID in August. So, hopefully by the next show I can go. I have a friend who went and advised on Friday (dealer set up day), someone came in with 34 G.43’s at $2,800 a piece for them! It was further reported that they did not last long. They had come from a collection.

Anyone also see these?

34 * $ 2,800 = $ 95,200. I wonder how many collectors at a show not only can afford this, but also have this cash at hand.

That‘s not a bad thing. We’ll get a shot at them on gunbroker. But, for $2,800 a rifle, I wonder what condition they were in and whether they were totally correct?

True but now you have fees and shipping cost as well. Now my guess if they came out of old collection most likely you will have good ones mixed in with some problem rifles. That is what I have noticed over the years from looking at collections. Hugh Brock's collection was a prefect example great pieces to choose from but problem pieces mixed in as well. Many members here got some great items though in the end. But nothing is better then looking at a collection like that in person. At the time I wished I had more money to spend!

Sure will be interesting to see. What would a fair price be on a matching example lately? Hate to even hazard a guess in todays escalating market being a novice for a G-K 43.
