Third Party Press

Tulsa show

I know of some other collectors who store the items disassembled. That is the weirdest thing one can do and ensures the items looses most of its value because even if you can sell it yourself, after years many fail to find all parts (if not stored in the same place) or may not be able to fully assemble the items themselves.
Thanks for the additional information though. Too bad to hear it was taken apart this way. But given the buyer I'm very sure we'll see some of them to turn up again. I wonder where that HT sniper went to if it wasn't at the show?

I was there at the beginning of the frenzy and picked up a few good items. As mentioned, it was high-grade stuff. The two gentlemen mentioned did not get all of them. Took a great photo of the G43s at the height of the frenzy because I knew I’d never see anything like it again in this lifetime. I just tried to post it but file is too big.

I can’t resize on my IPhone without an app. Happy to email to someone.
I was told by one of the dealers behind the table that there were 23 G/K43s not 34.

Thanks for the pictures. It appears none of the rifles is with scope. Given what was told a few posts earlier:
I know he had several K 43s with matching optics.... I was at Tulsa and asked the dealer that was selling the estate about them and he said the collector had broken everything down and stored them separately...
it therefore appears they were sold separately from the rifles they were matching to. Great pity...

Wow, they appear to be real beauties. Someone mentioned a frenzy around these and it makes sense. I have seen a few K43s at gun shows and only one that
wasn't priced to the moon and appeared original.

Thanks for the pic guys.

So, they sold scope mount rigs without checking to see if any of them went with the rifles? That’s just weird.

And thank you Leopoldo for getting a pic. Now I can imagine what it looked like. There’s at least 21 there in the photo (unless I miscounted).

He' has got one posted!
