Moc hezký kousek :) . Škoda, že pažba není původní. Super je že puška není znehodnocená novodobou tormentací, nebo jinými raznicemi.

It is possible the stock is original, look inside for a serial number, look at the take down for an acceptance stamp... that the bayonet mug & buttplate match is a good sign. The cross bolt is also e/623, but most of all there are reports of KM unit marked rifles for SDP early on (Nordsee earlier, Ost See later), - in particular a 660/39 O.32400 9000 1st block rifle, which compares well with yours. Typically the unit marked rifles tend to be close in range when found, much like the bayonets, - that your unit marking seems close to this one it is possible it is original, but maybe sanded... (sanded is much preferable to mismatched, metal looks re-blued to me also, but still a rather elusive rifle in this condition)

Very few 660/39 are anywhere near original-matching, it is a very tough rifle to find matching and original.

My stock does not have any waa marks, probably isn't original.

It is rare to find the original stock on a 660/39 (98k), very difficult, at least in so far as 15 years of collecting data suggests. Too bad it is sanded on the exterior, but still quite a find.

G12/34 pictures and bayonet question

Thank you for sharing this information. I have spent the last week researching my dad's G12/34 - I wish I had found this information earlier! Here are pictures of his rifle. I have three bayonets that may fit the G12/34. I don't have a good reference book to confirm. Any thoughts?

Update - I had someone reach out and help identify the bayonets. All could fit the G12/34 but none where the actual bayonet.
