SS turd k98k rifle

Just curious, if you just now believe the marks are "questionable", then why is there NOTHING in the description that states as such.

Still looks like you are hiding something.

I have removed any reference to SS sign from the description and headline. I think it's a fair way for me to try to sell my gun not advertising those questionable marks

Then you should also remove any reference to matching numbers as well, because those aren't real either.

Original serial numbers on upper barrel band, trigger guard and floor plate have been welded over, ground and restamped with new numbers to match the barreled action. Knowingly offering such a rifle as "matching" is out right fraud, no ifs and buts about it.

Sight hood, cleaning rod and sling are not original to the rifle either. I also have doubts about the bolt assembly, it's not corroded enough to match the rest of the rifle. Unless I see convincing close-ups of the bolt, I have to assume it has been humped as well.

The more I study this rifle, the more it looks like a huge honking pig. Again, calling it matching is an outright lie which will land the seller straight in court, defenseless.

Here is a suggestion for a new sales tag:

"Used, mismatched and modified K98k parts for sale."

That may more accurately reflect this conglomeration of parts.
