Rough Forged Update 23 OCT 20

Gents,

I have started shipping out books. Began with the folks who helped finance this by paying early way back in August. Have sent out ca. 150 so far, more getting to the PO each day. Really appreciate your support and hope you're pleased. Watch your mail boxes!

Tracking- each set has a tracking number. But, I don't get that number until after the fact. Last year, I peeled off a sticker, placed it on the package, placed another on a sheet of paper and wrote your name next to it- before it ever shipped. Now the PO just gives you a receipt with the zip code mailed to and the number. The payment processor allows us to send you an email, but when that button is pushed we don't yet know the tracking number. But, rest assured we have the numbers if there are problems. If you get the email, that means the package was delivered to the PO. I will be curious to see how long these are taking to reach you guys.

Warm regards,

W. Darrin Weaver

Will there be Tulsa show sales of the book?

Despite having had to wait for non-US delivery option I got an order number of below 100. Somehow my spam filter seems to dislike the Front Sight Post Publishing mails since they always are stopped by it, but I've found today the shipping confirmation. Looking forward to get my order, thanks for your work already in advance! And please stay among us here, your knowledge is highly welcome - looking forward to read more of you!

What an awesome email to wake up to! Mine has shipped as well!

RE new book

I was going to pick one up directly at Tulsa show but then decided to order from website last weekend.
Now I'm glad I did since the show was canceled, can't wait for order 100170 to show up !!

Gents,

I regret that the Tulsa show was cancelled. We are going to try to set up at Market Hall in Dallas the last weekend of the month though (if we can get tables). So, if that works out, I'll have books there.

Of note, we're getting pretty close to getting current with orders. I think we're shipping the last batch from October in the morning and that will leave just the ones received the first two weeks of November. I think we've shipped about 300 sets between the webpage and distributors at this point. Thanks for your patience.

I found some typos and other pesky little errors recently (almost unavoidable with a set this size, but it pisses one off nonetheless). I'll post a short list of Errata when I get a chance.

Warm regards,

Darrin

You’ll never stop finding errors. Hell, I found some in volume 1 last week! But people won’t fault you for that, if they do send them here and we’ll straighten them out. Lol.

received my set earlier this week...very nice set and presentation! I'm looking forward to reading

just a for what it is worth...

Any thoughts to having an "owners section" or "rifle section" to your webpage? I say this as I know the owner of a USMC page is doing this so we can showcase some of our USMC 1903 Unertl snipers and a car page I go to does it as well...makes for a neat way to document rifles and provide historical info
