Thanks Wolfgang, I added the details, - which I will start to expand to include RR, BC and bolt BF as is the patterns the latest projects have taken up to trend. While the current project here lacks RR data, this 659/p uses a latter pattern with the central Crown/A, something not common until the q-r blocks and after. Interesting pattern change but there is a precedence, an n-block shares this pattern, but normally it is C/J C/O C/O through the h-blocks and p-block of 1917.

Good to expand this project, though I haven't the time to back fill the corrections, but further additions I will include RR-BC-Bbf and codes or incidental details of note.

heres one i picked up recently, matching but sadly no bolt. PO musta followed 2 old school bad practices, oven cleanered the stock, and stored the rifle without the bolt. i have pressed the shop who had it to ask for the bolt but no luck finding it so far. anyways hopefully these pix will help with your research. if you want any other pixs just ask! only thing i noticed is the K stamp under the receiver is also present on the inside of the barrel channel where the sn is stamped. might be a coincidence...i dunno

LJ, I added this to the study, thanks for taking the time, - keep seeking the bolt, it would greatly influence the rifle value if discovered. If you are a reliable customer maybe they will be more enthusiastic in their efforts!

I think the K in the channel is a coincidence, but the first rule in such situations is to keep an open mind and seek support in other examples or the absence of such.

Thanks Chris, I added them, - I will double check these tomorrow but see if the details jive with your interpretation, one looks like a potential counterstrike that fell to one side rather than on top of the intended number; the other a weak strike, but guess guess given in trends (but if you - or others - have thoughts, give your take...)

Wolfgang, Have you the RR or any other details of 9645/d? I added this to the study but I wish to expand this in regards to RR, BC and other relevant characteristics. OK if not but thought I'd ask as that is the direction I wish to develop further...

Thanks Wolfgang, I will check email today, - I added the probable RR as it looks to conform to standard Amberg RR in this range, which only changes (so far as known) in the latter f block and firmly by the g block of 1918 (which is very near the end of the production line. - Amberg/18 ends in the h-block, so far as trends go)

B, I added this note also, though we have a dedicated thread on this point. Eventually, one day in a future point hopefully we can merge the two threads to cover both purposes, but that would be a lot of tedious work for someone! Until this perfect future we will work independently!
