This one has a look that I really dig. The wire attachment method is quite simple but must have taken some talent to achieve.
Essentially no combat wear on this piece that I can see, although the rim has heavy wear (disparity).
The camo colors/shades do not fit a WWII German military theme. Also too bright/new looking.
The wire clearly took some time to install. Does not appear old and does not appear to have been attached to this helmet for a long time.
While no doubt authentic camo paint + wire examples exist, many of the postwar repaints + wire are simply overdone. A trooper took time to produce this exotic camo, then he took time to put an elaborate wire basket on it covering the camo once foliage is installed ? He seems to be working against himself.
