I have looked at the timeline - there’s some confusion in gman’s timeline.
Ceaser bought the rifle sporterized and repaired the original stock.
At some point, he put a nicer stock in the rifle.
Then, it appears he put the original stock back on the rifle and sold it to someone basically as he bought it.
You bought the rifle from a dealer, from which it came from an estate. Your assumption is he took a nice stocked rifle and put the cut/repaired stock - that in fact did not happen.
The rifle you own is nearly the same as when Ceaser bought it originally, albeit repaired. So technically it’s original as it can be. No telling when the floorplate disappeared and honestly makes no difference to value.
It’s a rare gun - a phosphate matching bolt C suffix German production svwMB is a hard gun to find. You should spend some time finding a correct unaltered stock to make it nicer, and keep the original as Caesar did so when you sell it they can remain together.
