That makes sense. I couldn’t think of any ways it would damage the rifle but wanted to be sure.The MG13 magazine doesnt always feed properly in a G/K43 at least the ones that I have seen that have been modified to work. I dont see any way it could damage the rifle unless you pulled a Bubba and altered the rifle in some way.
Repro mags tend to be pretty OK. I've owned a few, they seemed largely free of the kind of issues you see with the likes of cheaper M1 Carbine mags or repro Gew88 clips etc.As far as I know there are some repro G43 mags for sale.
