Fake duel code K98k

I don't know guys. You almost had me convinced, but then he threw in free shipping! He totally has to be on the up-and-up with that kind of generosity.

Seriously, though, as a new collector it is really useful to see these threads. My takeaway is that if it is advertised as a unicorn, I wouldn't touch it without expert help.

I think Warrior has the prize for outing the most fantasitacalcraptastic humpjob yet exhibited in 2015 and so far in 2016. It's going to be hard to top this one gentlemen. :hail:

Oh wow, that's hilarious. Even funnier is the capture papers. I've been collecting autographs for almost 20 years and the papers are atrocious; the ink doesn't even look like it dried.

This in fact may be the worst humpjob ever. EVER!! And that's saying something, to be the worst in a very long line of very bad humpjobs. Definite Hall of Shame winner.

Clearly they had a prototype Bic Ball Point in blue to fill out the paperwork in 1945. Er....... 2015. Whatever.

The capture papers are just lazy. Could he not at least invest $20 in an old typewriter?

I'm thinking the holy grail of k98k duel codes it is just so rare and only one of its kind though. I'm telling you Mike and Bruce missed this piece too put in the vol 3 book lol.

Yes they should take note of the ultra-rare "desert sand" bolt shroud too for their next revision.

Noticed he's really wanting too sell this piece and he has also dropped the price again. Opening bid of $2550 and a buy now for $2900. Still no takers maybe someone want believe this BS.

Possibly a 50 year old with 2 feedback? I can imagine the look on his face when someone tells him the truth about his latest "score". Oops.

You guys have too realize it came with capture paperwork. You know who would fake capture papers plus this code is not known. Meaning it's faked but it could be real. After all it was late in the war. Germans didn't care they were just throwing stuff together and making new codes that we never even heard of. You know documents lost and those damn pesky Russians again.

Also most folks here know I collect AX k98k pieces. I know there is an ax/ar code. But guys there may be ax/byf, ax/bcd, ax/duv, ax/bnz, ax/ce I mean this stuff can't be made up their just one of kind pieces or prototype pieces.

I have yet too find one nor have I found a medium turret k98k sniper yet. Dave hasn't found one of those either told him too an eye out for one for my collection lol.

Lets just say who ever bought this crap K98k just got Thunderstruck in the process! And when he finds out that he got screwed on this piece most likely he will be thinking about some dirty deeds later.

Its back for sale again almost like a turd you can't flush down the toilet! I guess the guy selling it most have realized it wasn't worth the $2500 he paid for it. He's added a bayonet with the rifle plus a no reserve on the auction. Already someone thinks its worth $450.

I think its worth more being run over by a Panzer IV.
