Bing, 20 Round Detachable Magazine

Hey everyone, this is one that I've had for some time, but never got around to posting it. Anyway, it's a Bing detachable magazine. Trench mags are one of those accessories that were produced in enormous numbers, like luger drums and rifle dust covers. The survival rate during and post war was low, which is why you rarely see them. Per Storz, Bing, combined with Junghans and Scharlach probably made around a million of these things. Bing being the most common of the three, at 272,000.

They were a model steam engine manufacturer, both in the form of toys and model steam turbines. My dad collects these and might actually have a few. They were close to scale models of the real thing.
 
I really want get a G98 with one of these. I rather not attach it to my Simson.. on the bucket list!
