2016 Best Finds of the Year

I thought a little more about it and would like to throw in this original senior nco tunic. It goes well with the K98's and other German militaria. That and my pup Karl.

My only 98 related score this year was a grrrittty bnz45 T block lacking the final proof. Pics one of these days soon. Oh, and we got a new house, too.

No German weapons at all this year but the Russian. However, if have to say that my best find (price / worth) would be these 1944 Dienstglas for $5.

Be cool if you could see a slideshow of all the light that has passed thru these bino's.

My best find in November

Pretty cool story. I'm a Budweiser sales rep and I was talking to one of my shop owners in the ghetto about guns and he told me he had something to show me since I collect WWII and he pulls this out from behind the counter. Paid 500 for it. 1941 all matching.

2016 was the year I started! I picked up my very first K98 dou 43 that is basically all matching expect for the stock. I do have the original stock as pictured but it was cut down. I traded a 1911 and some cash for it and I can't believe I didn't start this years ago! I have always collected guns but never old school military collectors. Any advice, feedback or comments are welcome!!IMG_6974.JPGIMG_6973.JPGIMG_6972.JPGIMG_6969.JPGIMG_6968.JPGIMG_6967.JPGIMG_6944.JPG

Outstanding, congrats. I worked for a large AB distributor for about 10 years and to date myself I was there when they rolled out the first shelf set PC program ;) I enjoyed that job, particularly special events. I never scored a P.08 though ;)
