Feel free to give me your opinions on this gun.

    1906 WMO

This may not have much collector value but I find it interesting. It's been through a depot (or several) in its day. It appears to be made from three guns. The barrelled action, all the bands, and the trigger group are from one gun, the stock and nuttplate from another and the bolt from yet...

    SPANDAU 1911

As luck would have it, I don't have any unit marked 98s!

    KAR 71

This is one of my favorites. All matching gun with a good bore. Surprisingly no unit markings.

    SPANDAU 1911

I think I'm getting the hand of this picture thing. All matching gun. Probably has the best imperial stamps on the stock of the 98s I own.

    WMO 71-84

Nice! Beats my old battered 71/84s.

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

I agree with the above. It does have a turk stamp on the extractor, but I don't think that is significant. I'll just shoot it, it has an excellent bore. I'll post some more interesting 98's pretty soon, with better light.

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

It does! Any pictures in particular you need to see to help me figure out who cut this down into its current configuration?

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

Looks like I'm too stupid to figure out imgur. Computer incompetence strikes again. Seems to be a gaming site? I have a bunch of mausers you guys might find interesting. I'll try taking pics again sometime today.

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

Patience. I have a lot of stuff going on at the moment. This is the only site I have difficulty posting pics.

The lang sight is still in place

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

Ok, what is the minimum picture size here?

What happened to my 1918 AMBERG?

It is now k98 dimensions in a laminate stock. The metal finish is some sort of black phosphate. Is there a CZ lion stamped on the receiver? The only other mark that is questionable is there seems to be a turk stamp on the extractor. I'm wondering who did the modifications and when. Was it done...

1914 Erfurt wont chamber a round

I'm guessing there are remnants of a shell in the chamber that has suffered head case separation.
