    receiver Marking

That marking is an early Obendorf in-house acceptance/inspection stamp. There are other Gothic style inspection stamps associated with Banner K production.

    What is this sling?

Thats a Banner K sling, likely accepted as a spare with that S/42 marking. I have seen others with the military inspection stamps.

    Portuguese K98

That Portuguese 'cross' appears on the buttplate of most the M937-B contract rifles and is one unique feature of this contract run.

bnz 43 with Waff 359 stock - pics included

There was a period of time (late 42 into early 44) that multiple manufacturers deleted the stock external acceptance stamp. The only one I know of that did not was Mauser Oberndorf. S/42 1938 Kriegsmarine

Could be a factory overstamp at Mauser. They did make corrections during the numbering sequence and an overstamp is one common trait. A good closeup image would confirm this.

    DOT 1944 A Block K98k - Thoughts?

Rifle is likely a restoration of a matching sporterized action. Stock appears to be an RC for a late dou44 or 45. I would value the rifle in the 1100-1200 dollar range.
