    CE44 1041o

Was reading the ERMA/FEIMA section of the K98k books for a project and realized that with the Gothic script and e/280 WaA, that this receiver had its start at ERMA/FEIMA prior to making its way to JP Sauer, which I thought was pretty neat. Its remarkable how much I forget and relearn by visiting...

    Parting out G98/40

If you plan on parting it out, your best bet is to get a list of guys who want certain parts. If you can part most of the rifle out go for it. If only 2-3 guys bite for small parts that won't even finish their rifles for some reason, just sell the gun whole.

    Putting magazine floorplate back on

Your magazine button looks like it is not fully depressed to lock onto the rear. I had this issue on a byf44, try moving the button back and forth to see if it comes out further. Mine was crooked and I had to straighten it. Seeing the serial numbers match I guarentee nothing is wrong with the FP...

    DK Mp44 semi?

Their MP38 run was very successful, I got 6 of their mags for my IndyOrdnance MP40 and they are a great alternative to originals.

    DK Mp44 semi?

My understanding is that these are effectively a second run of the PTR-44? I believe DK is just SSD's American satellite/manufacturing company to get around the import issues.

    My K98k Collection

Some of them are frustratingly close, the dou45 needing a blued qnw floorplate for example, I'm shocked one hasn't appeared, its not a particularly rare part. The dot44 I got from a forum member, the stock came form a reenactor who was using it at events. I traded him cash and a RC stock.

What path would that be? Did you get out of 3R stuff?

    My K98k Collection

Most of these barreled actions I got back between 2015-2018 where they cost about 250-300 all matching, with parts like stocks being 150 bucks it was feasible to make a profit, let alone break even. It seems most guys are holding onto what parts they have, or selling them for amounts not worth...
