DK Mp44 semi?

Does anyone here have any insight into the DK mp44 semis they are building, specifically quality and functionality?
Thanks!

Saw one at the SOS. Seemed like a nice rifle but didn’t get much time with it. He does have them for sale on his website right now. Should be ready in about a month or so.

What I think is fascinating is that they are also assembling semi Fg42s in addition to the Mp44’s….

My understanding is that these are effectively a second run of the PTR-44? I believe DK is just SSD's American satellite/manufacturing company to get around the import issues.

Seems like this would be a bigger deal? Does not seem like too many people are excited about this possibility. Are we leery of the PTR fiasco?

Purely my belief is that DK is dipping his toes in to see demand and deliver a quality product. Essentially to test the market and build reputation - only my belief.

I really want an Mkb42, so I’m torn between grabbing this or waiting.

All I can say is get them while they are available. I’d buy one but i have a ptr44 already.

Their MP38 run was very successful, I got 6 of their mags for my IndyOrdnance MP40 and they are a great alternative to originals.

So some of you may have seen the Chevron Deference doctrine was overturned at the United States Supreme Court. This essentially stated that executive agencies could interpret laws and apply them as they saw fit - and the courts would defer to that interpretation. But it’s gone now.

So my question is, would that impact the interpretation of open bolt semiautomatics being MGs? And if so, is it possible we could get these Mkb42s as open bolt semi’s legally now?

Let’s hope so!!!!
