Hi Dave
Wonderfull k98 indeed.
Is there any holes in the rainshield of the dkl scope ?
Regards

Yes 1 hole at 6:00 clock position .I need to clarify the hole is actually a Screw Hole as it is threaded , if you look in Karabiner 98k Book IIa on pg 352 the DKL scope showing underside has a screw in this one . Possible the screw is missing in my new Scope or it never had one . Also neither of these HT DKL Scopes have lugs/studs for Arctic Sunshade like I have seen on DKL LSR Scopes .

I have a later DKL LSR Scope in 3700 range that has lugs/studds for Arctic Sunshade .
I am curios if any of the DKL Turret Scopes have lugs/studs for Arctic Sunshade and approximately what serial
range do they start to show up ?.

No wonder if those never come to the market if everything top class ends up with Dave :googlie. Now that I've learned the new term, would that also be a "honey hole" where you got that one from? Can't get any better, and thanks for also sharing them here Dave!

Typically you have to outlive other collectors to end up with top shelf items. They go into a collection and never come out till the drop dead or decide to sell before dropping dead. This is just the way things work.

Most items that surface be absorbed and wont be seen for another 30-40 years..
