ZG 1229 Vampir somewhere?

Can you elaborate on this piece, is this the mounting bracket?
This part was mounted on the late Mp.44 that had a zf4 rail. Since I finish a complete submachine gun unit with zg1229, it is an important component. Here an original with ZF4 rail

I have heard there are other marks elsewhere on the gun that indicate it was a vampir designated rifle, any truth to that?

That's right and I assemble such a rifle for the zg1229. This also includes the magazine holder and the surround. Haenel issued them with a zg1229 at the end of the war, nobody else.I want everything to be as detailed as possible

What do you think was the purpose of this modified magazine holder?
Wozu wurde der Magazinhalter modifiziert/welchen Zweck erfüllte dieser?

Ich habe gelesen das die alten Varianten öfter gebrochen sind und zum Ende des Krieges diese neu entwickelt wurden

I have read that the old variants are broken more often and that they were redeveloped at the end of the war

So that detail is not necessarily connected with the NV scope but more of a general improvement?

Also ist dieses Detail nicht zwangsweise mit dem Nachtsicht ZF verbunden, sondern eine generelle Verbesserung?

It's a general improvement that was built into the zf housing. Since I'm building a complete unit between the zg1229 and the submachine gun, I didn't want to forget this detail.

I have a couple of new pictures for you, repro and original

Here are some pictures of the receiver, it's a BD44 from Dittrich, I made everything as original as possible. All spot welds also had to become a new law. Half a year's work was worth it;-)i will connect this device to my zg1229. I think it will fit well.
