zf41 sniper scope case

The late scope (ZF41 type2 and ZF41/1) will not fit early can, since the lid of early can is a bit shorter than the late.

And the late ones do not have the brush tube.

I believe the brush was omitted in the late set.

ok looking at the lid hinges mine is a late can so more than likely it never had a brush holder. what it should have that it is missing is the wood block at the bottom to hold the scope. not sure how it was removed. the horse hair lining is almost perfect. maybe it broke and was removed is pieces.

there is a little screw on the bottom which holds the wood. I rather think it has been deliberately put out to use the can to store small parts. As said, I would put it on ebay, you will definitely get much more than you paid. But it is rather nothing for the advanced collector.
