Hello
The number on the scope tube is the scope serial number.
The number on the can is the rifle serial number.
Two different things.
Regards

Hello, to complete what Xavier rightly says, the rifle number, which is on the box, must also be present on the mounting foot, above the "duv" and the waa

seen plenty of original mounts without serial numbers so should that always be the case.or just on earlier ones.

That’s an interesting coincidence the scope number matches the rifle number. They’re saying that your mount is a later mount. The original mount that was issued with your can would have been serialed with rifle number and letter block.

Hello. No, it is not the same number between this scope and this box. The exact scope serial number is 2894 f and not 28941. It's a chance that the number looks like but it's not at all original. The scope is assigned to an already numbered weapon. The serial number of the scope and the weapon cannot match. Only serial number mounting, box and weapon match. If no serial number on mount or on box, so there is a good chance that it is an assembly of parts Which have never been put into service. As for serial number of this glasses, it is a production kov, French, and it is common to find the letter f at the end of the serial number
