Hello
  • What are your thoughts on this Dutch Carbine?
  • Is this a captured rifle or KNIL?
  • Condition is good
  • I'm not a gun collector my knowledge is very limited
  • I picked it up for $200
Thank you
Tony

Well the German markings are original, and it was reworked by Magdeburg. It appears to be a KNIL Constabulary stock, but I don't know they were making this model in 1916. It obviously could not have been delivered to the KNIL if the Germans ended up with it.

Maybe a late 30s rework that was not shipped out before the war started? Odd gun!
