I've had this rifle for several months and I'm just now getting around to posting it. I have Jordan to thank for this one, he was kind enough to pass this one along to me. Condition wise, this one is pretty typical of what you encounter from WOK, it's certainly a real warhorse. Overall it's a wonderful example, totally matching less the front trigger guard screw. One odd characteristic of WOK is the major font difference between parts, the 1s are different depending on the part in question. This is also the case with several with a few other numbering dies they used. This topic is really Cyrus' baby, he was looking at tracking these anomalies. From a survivability standpoint, every year is pretty difficult, especially if you're talking bolt m/m or better, so it's tough to say when font variance ended. However, it seems to be prevalent during the early years. For what its worth, I think WOK was the worst maker from a quality control standpoint, total tomato stakes compared to the other firms (I mean the couldn't even center "Gew 98" on the rail with most of their guns).
