You have a pretty nice rifle there at that price! Celebrate all the time and effort put into it, and shoot it. Whoever made it certainly did so to shoot it! It’s a nice example of a sporterized gun. There’s nothing wrong with having a sporterized K98 in your collection! It’s one of the ways these rifles were treated after being captured.
