Figured I would put this here so all can see where things stand.
Work is proceeding well and we will have 2-copies of a hand printed rough draft for review at SOS.
Any and all will be welcome to peruse the early draft.

As of last night all the chapters were at 90-95% except accessories which will be at 90-95% by SOS.
Current page count is 833 pages with our maximum size set at or around 850.

This time the 1lb box is really stuffed.

Based on past experience, it will take about 4 months to edit, proofread, and hone the rough draft into a finished work.

Our schedule for release would early summer 2017 -- yes that is this year.

Good news! Wish I was going to SOS to check out the draft.

Will there be any info on manufactures deviating into semi auto production (G41,G43)?

Only mention is textual in BLM while Gustloff does have small pictorial on KzBU G43.

Glad too hear it and excited as well. We must buy Mike and Bruce the first rounds at this years SOS forum gathering for their efforts. :happy0180:

Guess I should get started working on my half now if you're at 90-95%. Figured I'd better give you a head start, so now I can take off running. Should have my half done by the Show of Shows.

I have Vol. 3 from the first run way back, never got it signed or a serial number attached. Had discussed with Farb to sign it and number it WaA221 or WaA4 way back then, will understand if it can't be done but would be cool. But will ship the book to him to sign anyway and purchase the other two volumes at that time and have all 3 shipped at that time. Looking forward to it very much. one of my rifles is in vol.3 so that makes me feel important..lol. Is it even possible to have both authors sign it?

Mike, I was told this was a pic snapped of you taking a break during a hard day of writing-I don't believe it's you though-I know you're into rifles not handguns.

That's actually Bruce, notice the guitar. For those that are unaware Bruce collects guitars too. He even goes to shows, I think Dave Roberts took this photo at a show they went to in Cleveland.
