It's got what wood craves. Also it's got electrolytes which would fix that metal. It might take half a bottle though.

There's no way I'd shoot full house loads out of that poor dog. The thing is a mystery though parts wise. Maybe sreisel's grandkids were playing around out in the garage.

It won't make the wood shiny either. I mean, yea, its shiny when you put it on. But if you wait a while, and keep rubbing the stock with rags to remove the stuff seeping out, it will eventually not be shiny. Its entirely reversable too.

Yeah I saw those. I wonder if Germany supplied China with any complete guns prior to the outbreak of war? For example look at Swedish mausers (M96) where parts of the contract were manufactured at Oberndorf.

To me that left side serial number looks VERY Chinese mauser like.

Fishing for what? I like to keep original rifles original. I see applying Howard's to a woodwork rifle as retarded. It doesn't need it. Period. To each his own but when a fad starts to become ritual it breaks down collecting protocol. You don't cold blue rifles do you? Why anyone wants to defend the practice of molesting rifles I'll never understand. Howard's changes the appearance whether anyone wants to admit it or not. No one here butters my bread and I will not kowtow to anyone regardless of internet hero status.
